How Can We Pray For You

I have to admit I’m not very good at keeping up with Blogs. what I would rather do, is pray for you. I consider it a great honour and privilege to pray for those who request prayer.

To know that our Heavenly Father listens to our petitions gives me the incentive I need to pray for people. God our Father is in the restoration and healing business and no prayer is too big or too small.

Romans 8:26 reads……. In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.

A Declaration of War

I Will Fight!!

The Christian life is not a playground, it’s a battleground, so today I will give no place to fear or failure

I will not accept a trace of apathy in my attitude or actions, I will reject complacency and embrace the greatness that God has placed inside of me

I will waste no opportunity to glorify God, and maximize everything He has entrusted to me….I will fight

My battle is not against flesh and blood, but against a spiritual enemy who opposes me, so I will draw the battle lines and face my enemy with a bold determination

My enemy fights against me, because he fears me, every time I resist him he must flee and every time he reminds me of my past, I will remind him of his future

I will make no excuses but through every obstacle I will find a way, I will not procrastinate my progress I will not defer my destiny, I will not waiver when I’m weak

I will not cower when my circumstance takes a turn for the worse, because greater is He that is in me than he who is in the world….I will fight

Even if I lose the battle, I will win the war because I’m more than a conqueror through Him who loves me

I will reject the lies that echo in my mind telling me that I don’t have what it takes, that my best is behind me, or that humiliation awaits me

The Devil is a liar, my God always causes me to triumph through Jesus Christ my Lord….I will fight

I am unashamed to represent a kingdom that is unshakeable, no one will be able to stand against God’s plan for me all the days of my life

With my God, I will advance against every truth, with His help I will scale every wall

Though my enemy surrounds me, my God surrounds my enemies, though they may come at me one way they will flee seven ways, because no weapon formed against me will prosper and every evil thing that raises against me….I will condemn…for I will fight

My heart is steadfast, my purpose is immovable, I am always abounding in the work of The Lord, my potential is unlimited, because the limitless God lives within me

The cross is before me, the world is behind me, I will never turn back I will never give up I will never settle I will never stop short….for I will fight

I will press against the mark for the prize that is already mine, for I am persuaded that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor powers nor things present nor things to come nor height nor depth nor any other created thing shall be able to separate me from my God, and if my God is for me who can any be against me…..I will fight

The Lord is my Sheppard and even though I will walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for He is with me

Here is your moment of truth, will you fight with me, will you put your interests aside for the interests of others, will you step outside your comfort  zone for the Glory of God, will you be the hands and feet here on earth for your creator….will you fight?

Son of man, can these bones live

I think this is a very appropriate question for the day…..because sin is running rampant and much of the church has grown cold and lazy and apathetic.The point I’m making is; The same Holy Spirit and power that blew through Ezekiel’s bone yard that day and produced the greatest revival in history, is the same Holy Spirit moving in the North End of Winnipeg today. The reason that is so important is because God does not change and He is no respecter of persons of people, race, country or nation. It doesn’t matter if you’re rich or poor,aboriginal or white, young or old. The question I have, is can your dry bones be revived? Yes they can, for with God all things are possible….and all things are possible unto them that believe.

Jesus said: The thief comes to steal to kill and to destroy, but I come that they might have life and that more abundantly. I encourage you to let God heal your dry bone syndrome.

And they stood upon their feet an exceeding great army!

To God be all the glory!

Please Pray With Us

James 5:16

Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.

Heavenly Father help us to be a shining light, to help the least, the lost and the last. Help us spread the good news of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Share Your Testimony

Rev 12:11  And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony

Don’t ever think that your testimony isn’t important, according to the word of God, you are made an overcomer by the blood of Jesus and by your testimony. Your testimony is what makes you valuable to the kingdom of God, your testimony is what makes you dangerous, your testimony is what makes you a threat to hell. When you open your mouth and declare the faithfulness of God, and declare the mercy of God that delivered you, that restored you, and set you free. Your testimony becomes a weapon, your testimony becomes a sword in your hand, your testimony becomes an instrument of power, to set the captives free.

Romans 8:37….But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.

Our chains are gone we are set free by the blood of the lamb and by the word of our testimony.

Seek To Win

As Christians we have been given victory over sin, through Christ’s death on the cross, but we seldom live that victory. We have been given the power to resist temptation, and to make the right choices….choices that glorify God, but seldom do we live empowered by Christ to resist temptation, we struggle along day after day, find ourselves falling into sin, and then expect God to pick us back up, brush off the dirt and accept us again.

Praise God, He does! He’s always there when we wonder back.

Every time Satan has succeeded in doing something to hurt us….he sits back and laughs. Don’t give him the satisfaction, Satan has stolen our kids, stolen our money, stolen our joy, and stolen our health.

It’s time to take back what the devil has stolen. It’s time to claim victory, through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ

Awake O Sleeper, rise from the dead and Christ will give you light!

All Glory be to God

We had a God filled evening serving soup in main street bars. What a privilege it is to serve the hungry on the streets and in the bars of Winnipeg. May God continue to open doors that were previously closed, as we minister to the least, the lost and the last. Resuming Sunday Services

After a short break from Sunday services we are pleased to announce that we will be resuming our Sunday worship service! Please come out and join us this Sunday (January 20, 2013) at 4:00 PM and worship the Lord. 

Thursday Night Bible Study

Pastor Gilbert encourages you to come out to our Thursday evening Bible study at 6:00 pm. Our goal is to learn how to grow and show Jesus in our everyday lives. Lest We Forget

God keep our land glorious and free, and free we are through our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Lest we forget all of our past and present war heroes who have sacrificed their lives so that we in Canada, may live in a free country.
